Having said that the radio module and the display itself won't be replaced nor modified.

FAQs:

Q. Do I get the old touch panel / Display back?

A. Dead touch panels are not repairable nor can be used, hence we dispose it once removed from the audio.
But if you really want to take it with you, sure.

Q. Do I lose any settings I've made in the audio?

A. Not at all.

Q. Can I get a better touch screen, almost good as mobile phone capacitive touch?

A: The UConnect display does not have touch sensor / input designed for Capacitive screen.

Hence It won't even provide a half of the result you are expecting.

Q. Will a delaminating occur with this new panel too?

A. It really depends on what climate / region the car gets driven and where it gets parked,

as the light and heat takes huge parts in cause of delamination.

Sadly Australia's climate is quite notorious for both.

So the answer will be 'possibly, yes '.

Q, Do I get the same factory warranty like back when I bought the car from the Jeep dealer?

A. We provide 3 months warranty for the touch panel.

Q. Can you provide this service for my car? I'm located outside of Victoria though.

A. Whilst we can sell the touch panel by itself, the whole service will need to be done through

your local installer / technician.

Q. Will this work with other vehicles with the same UConnect, like 300C or Dodge RAM?

A. Most likely yes, cars under FCA group are pretty much sharing the same parts.
However certain year models may use different LCD panel / touchscreen module.
