Ford Ranger PX MKII SYNC 2 Caravan / Towing Camera Integration

See beyond your caravan — through your original SYNC 2 screen.

Add a compatible external camera from your caravan, trailer or horse float to your Ford Ranger PX MKII factory infotainment system. A camera positioned at the rear of your caravan helps you check the area that the vehicle’s own reversing camera cannot see.

Important — Confirm Your Factory SYNC 2 System

This package is for a compatible Ford Ranger PX MKII with SYNC 2. Send your build year, factory-screen photo and existing caravan-camera details before ordering. Camera compatibility depends on the video signal, power supply and wiring — connector shape alone does not confirm compatibility.

Factory Screen. A More Useful Camera View.

  • Caravan / trailer camera integration: view a compatible external camera on the original SYNC 2 screen.
  • Camera selection in Reverse: select the factory reversing-camera view or the connected external camera with a compatible installation.
  • Original display retained: no separate dashboard monitor required.
  • Flexible towing setup: discuss caravan rear-view, trailer or horse-float camera requirements before booking.
  • No vehicle coding required: for the compatible integration package described in this listing.
Vehicle Compatibility — Check Before Ordering

Vehicle: Ford Ranger PX MKII
Factory system: SYNC 2
Listing year guide: 2015–2018 — actual factory system must be confirmed.

Please provide your model, build date, a photo of the powered-on screen and details of any aftermarket interfaces or previous modifications. This page does not confirm compatibility with SYNC 3 or other screen systems.

How the Towing Camera Works

A compatible camera on the caravan or trailer connects to the vehicle-specific interface. When Reverse is selected, the integrated setup allows selection between the original reversing camera and the external camera view.

The original vehicle camera looks from the vehicle itself. A camera mounted at the rear of the caravan provides a different view of the space behind the caravan.

Confirm Your Required Viewing Mode

Tell us whether you need reversing-only operation or another viewing arrangement. Continuous viewing while driving, horse-float monitoring, switching controls and retention of existing camera functions must be confirmed for your exact interface before booking.

Already Have a Caravan Camera?
  • Send the camera brand, model and photos of its connectors.
  • Confirm the video format and camera supply voltage.
  • Tell us about the trailer connection, cable length and any wireless equipment.
  • We will confirm whether the existing equipment can be reused or requires an alternative camera, cable or interface.

A wireless caravan-camera kit is not automatically compatible with this wired factory-screen interface.

Optional Camera & Heavy-Duty WOZA Cable Kit

If you do not already have a suitable camera and towing cable, ask about the heavy-duty NTSC camera and WOZA trailer cable pack. Camera, cable, additional accessories and installation are included only when specified in your quotation.

Professional Installation & Final Checks
  • Confirm the correct interface and camera signal compatibility before fitting.
  • Secure camera mounting and weather-appropriate cable routing.
  • Check camera image orientation and manual / automatic operation as applicable.
  • Check access to original infotainment functions and existing reversing camera where fitted.
  • Agree all camera, cable, accessories and installation charges before work begins.
Important Camera Information

Camera views assist with visibility and do not replace direct observation, mirrors or safe manoeuvring. Objects may appear further away than they are. Low kerbs and obstacles can fall outside the camera view depending on placement.

No parking-sensor overlay, dynamic guidelines, specific resolution or continuous-view capability is included unless confirmed in the selected package.

Warranty & Service Support

12-month product warranty. Contact Naviplus with your vehicle details and a description of any fault before returning equipment. Inspection, repair, software updates or replacement are arranged as appropriate.

Change-of-mind returns depend on condition, installation status and the agreed return terms. Confirm approval and any applicable costs before returning equipment. These terms do not exclude your rights or remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

Plan Your Caravan Camera Setup

Send your vehicle model, build year and factory-screen photo. Include your caravan-camera make, model and connector photos.
