How It Works

1. Compatibility check: We assess your factory system and the camera hardware required.
2. Camera installation: A compatible camera is mounted discreetly and connected with the required video and power wiring.
3. Activation and coding: The supported camera function is enabled and configured.
4. Operation check: Camera image, reverse-gear triggering and existing parking functions are checked.

Once installed and configured, selecting reverse brings up the rear-camera view on the factory Virtual Cockpit. The camera position and display layout depend on the vehicle and selected components.

Camera Mounting & Image Quality

A suitable rear-handle camera or discreet alternative mount can be selected for your vehicle. The mounting position, camera angle and correct wiring are confirmed during the installation assessment.

Image clarity depends on the camera, lighting, lens cleanliness and the factory display. Camera signal compatibility must be confirmed before supplying your own camera.

• Melbourne workshop: Camera supply, fitting and coding can be arranged as a quoted package.
• Coding service: Available for an eligible vehicle with correctly installed compatible camera hardware.
• Remote coding: May be available in selected cases, subject to the required equipment and confirmed hardware setup. Physical camera installation is still required.
