Apple CarPlay & Android Auto with Touch Overlay
Bring smartphone navigation, music and compatible apps to your Audi A5’s original factory display. This integration uses a transparent touch panel fitted over the existing screen, preserving the factory dashboard layout.
TOUCH CONTROL ONLY
Operation: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are controlled through the touchscreen only. The MMI dial does not operate the CarPlay or Android Auto interface.

Touch Panel Options
Option 1 — Capacitive Touch Panel
The capacitive option is described as offering clear light transmission and responsive touch operation. Confirm availability and any option cost before ordering.
Option 2 — Resistive Touch Panel
Listed as the default option. A transparent resistive touch panel is fitted over the original factory display.
Both panel options provide touch operation. Neither option adds MMI dial control for the integration interface.
Operation & Factory Screen Switching
- Use the existing NAV button to switch between the factory display and the integration display.
- Once CarPlay or Android Auto is displayed, use the touch overlay to select and operate its menus.
- The supplied operating instructions describe press-and-hold actions for switching and assigned Siri functions. Follow the instructions provided for your installed unit.
Touch only: Factory button switching is separate from app navigation. The MMI dial does not control CarPlay or Android Auto menus.
Audio Connection & AUX Requirements
CarPlay and Android Auto audio is routed through the vehicle’s compatible external audio input. Confirm that a working AUX input or mode is available.
No AUX input or mode? The product information specifies an additional AUX retrofit kit. Confirm the correct accessory with Naviplus and select it when ordering.
Any required AUX activation or retrofit work should be confirmed before installation.

Warranty & Replacement
